Try leaving the tea tree oil out and possibly replace it with another essential oil. Think of what you would like your skin to smell like. That’s my thoughts on it. I am going to try this but I will leave tee tree oul out because I already know my eyes are sensitive to tea tree oil.

Hi Barb! Yes, that’s exactly why we use distilled water in this recipe. It helps prevent bacterial growth. I’ve had a bottle last a few months without any obvious signs of contamination.

Hi Lizzy, I’m sure you can, but I’ve never actually tried vegetable glycerin in this face cleanser recipe. If you decide to use it, I’d add 1/2 tsp. in place of the jojoba oil. If you add both, you might have problems with it foaming. Let me know how it works for you! 🙂
