I also make popcorn in the microwave by putting an even layer of kernels in the bottom of a large bowl (don’t overcrowd them!), covering the bowl with a plate, and microwaving until I hear a 2-second gap between successive pops (this is how I learned to pop pre-bagged popcorn). I love the idea of misting with something that gives an additional flavor boost! I bet you could also dilute maple syrup or agave to use as a mist for a sweet n salty variation!

All I can say is WOW!! How amazing is this recipe? I'm so happy that I came across this recipe and I can't thank you enough. I worked for whole foods for many years they have a sweet summer kale salad. I always wanted the recipe and, here it is.I will add that I did put 1 tsp of apple cider vinegar in the dressing which popped the salad a tad . I made a huge batch and shared it with family and neighbors. It's amazing so refreshing and very very good for you. Thank you for sharing the recipe it's delicious!!!!

Try leaving the tea tree oil out and possibly replace it with another essential oil. Think of what you would like your skin to smell like. That's my thoughts on it. I am going to try this but I will leave tee tree oul out because I already know my eyes are sensitive to tea tree oil.

I wondered about spraying lightly with a version of PAM cooking spray. I know there are a LOT of healthy/low calorie cooking sprays now.
I was thinking about spraying and seasoning in layers so I hopefully would cover more popcorn.
We'll see how it goes.
EATING AIR-POPPED CORN IS LIKE EATING STYROFOAM AS FAR AS I'M CONCERNED.
SIMPLY GOTTA HAVE SEASONING!
